What is Myelination?


Myelination is the process where nerve fibers in the brain are coated with a fatty substance called myelin. This coating speeds up signal transmission, making movements smoother and more automatic. In PDR, this means that with repeated practice, pushing or pulling a dent correctly becomes instinctive rather than requiring conscious effort.
